Afraid of Bugs? Not Joshua Thornton of Skeleton Skin Tattoo. After three long hours and five artists simultaneously tattooing a trail of 420 ants throughout his body, Josh Thornton has received the Guinness World Record Title for Most Insects Tattooed on the Body.
His inspiration was on October 20, 2018, the day of the Reno Zombie Crawl. In memory of the previous record holder, Rick Genest, aka the Zombie Boy, holding the record at 176 insects.
When asked why he did this, he stated, "the Guinness Book was the first book I ever bought as a kid at my elementary school book fair, and from that day I always dreamed of being in it somehow."
Congratulations Josh. Holding a Guinness Record is no small feat.
